Project: Brick Chimney - Major Reconstruction   

Comments: We hired Rob and his team to replace a tricky deteriorating chimney, which was unsafe and severely leaked into the ceiling of our finished attic space.  We found his work to be so good and of a very high standard that we also had him re-plaster our pool and install a new slate pool terrace, and various other significant bluestone and  Belgian block jobs. The work is top notch. Rob is easy to work with--extremely conscientious, precise and-- best of all--on time.  Highly recommend.

Project: Build a Custom Play House or Tiny House

Comments: Rob and his team recently completed a play house project at my house, and it was really a five star experience from the beginning. He was transparent re pricing, honored his commitments re timing and quality, and even took steps along the way to enhance the value of the project by offering ways to improve the design (in many ways at his cost). Just a great old school approach to business. I would hire them again.

Project: Install or Replace Wood Shake Roofing

Comments: We hired Better Home Improvements to replace half of the cedar wood roof on our house. They also power washed the other half of the roof, stained the entire roof, and power washed the house. Rob and his team did an excellent job. 

 As a result of his recommendations, we also installed leaf guards (they were installed just before a torrential rainstorm, and for the first time in years, we didn't have water pouring against our windows from our roof). Rob is a pro, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Better Home Improvements. In fact, I'm considering 

hiring them for work on some commercial buildings

Project: Full Exterior House and Trim Paint

Comments: We hired Rob to paint the exterior of the house, the fence and paint/update our back deck. Wow! Rob and his team were not only honest and professional, but they went above and beyond. They made sure we were happy with every square inch of the work. When they found issues with the back deck, they performed the work above what we could have ever expected and beyond what they were contracted to do. Rob takes pride in his work and takes care of both his clients and employees.

 We would recommend Rob to friends and family, 

and will no doubt use his company again.
